5.0 out of 5 stars Happy Baby = Happy Mommy, July 11, 2009
My baby absolutely loves this walker! He insisted on being held all the time until his walker arrived. Now I am able to put him in his walker long enough to make dinner. We both love our moments of freedom. We bought the walker when he was 4 months old, but didn't really think that he would be ready for it - we were wrong. We put him in it and moments later he was chasing the cat and following his older siblings around.

The walker has the best construction of any walker I have seen - by a long shot. The base is wide enough that my 4-year-old twins have been able to play with their brother without tipping the walker, and anyone with a four-year-old knows how rough they can be on toys and baby gear. The musical toy is also great. My baby is six months old now and loves to push the buttons. The sounds aren't annoying and high-pitched like some electronic toys, and he likes the animal sounds it makes (especially the kitty meow). He also likes it when we remove the... Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars Great for tall babies!, January 21, 2010
By
Before you buy, test out any walker on your baby:
I have a tall baby who has been mistaken for a one year old since he was 4 months old. When he was 5 months, my husband, my baby and I went shopping for a walker. Initially, we planned on buying the Combi walker that resembles a car. Although it was nice looking, it only had 2 height settings and even the highest setting could not accomodate my son who's knees were bent as he strolled around the store aisle. Since the store did not have any other walkers that were sturdy, we went home discouraged. I decided to search the internet for other brands that we didn't consider and someone recommended this one. Not only did people & their babies love it, but it was [...] cheaper than the car.

Why I love it:

1. Height settings: It has 3 of them and the lowest is the height of the tallest on the Combi. The middle setting is perfect for him and it makes us feel good to know that there is still a higher... Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars fixed back wheels, May 10, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
This review is from: Chicco DJ Baby Walker, Splash (Baby Product)
I love everything about this walker,i bought chicco because my first 2 kids had one and it was great, the toy tray isn't in babys face like some walkers ect......that being said the rear wheels are fixed so baby can't walk sideways, which is the direction they learn first, then backwards also a problem stearing it...it only goes forward well.plus the 'red' on the walker is hot pink.Still really durable walker
Recomended age 6-11 months not for walking babies or babies that can't sit propped up or have good head control!
